AYADE SYMPATHISES WITH TRADERS OVER MARIAN MARKET MISHAP.

The Governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade has sympathised with traders in Marian Market over the fire out break that raged some parts of the market recently.

Speaking with some leaders and affected traders at Marian Market,the Commissioner for Commerce, Pst. Mrs.RoseMary Archibong, who conveyed His Excellency’s feelings also empathised with the affected traders and promised to brief the Governor on her on the spot findings.

She regretted that while the State, is fighting to ensure that livelihood of CrossRiverians is not destroyed by the pandemic, traders of essential commodities would loose their stock and revenue in this unfortunate manner.

In an interview, the PRO of National Association of Nigeria Traders Cross River State Chapter, Mr Tony Ogar, recounted the loses of traders and appealed that the Government, come to the aid of those affected as the cause of the inferno was yet to be unravelled.
